K-COM Model RF-1 Coiled Cord Filter
Radio Frequency Interference can
enter a telephone set (or telephone system) through often overlooked points. One of these
is the coiled cord between the base of a telphone and the handset. If intensity of the
interference varies as you move the coiled cord, it is likely that the cord is acting as
an antenna. The RF-1 Coiled Cord Filter gives you a convenient, low profile method of
plugging-in interference rejection right where it is needed. When the handset contains
electronics such as microprocessor, keypad, audio amplifier, etc., insert filter at the
handset. When electronics are in the base, locate the filter at the base.
